Acela Accident

An Amtrak Acela train -- just recently back in operation -- hit a car in Connecticut on Wednesday, crushing the car and killing two of the passengers, reports CNN.com.

I thought all of the Acela line was grade separated; I guess I was wrong...

Yes, I thought that, too. Then I thought maybe this was the line that goes via Springfield, MA but that's not electrified. I'm more than a little shocked to hear this.
