Wow, people have been riding underground in wet London for nearly a century and a half, and it took until now before someone decided that they could make money selling umbrellas at Underground station vending machines.
London Underground vending machine moment: On the last train out, jumping off at some empty station, buying a Dairy Milk at a platform-side vending machine and jumping in before the train left. Colossally stupid, but I always made it back.

I have seen a few of the Umbrolly machines around London, and to be honest they are gorgeous, or should I say as gorgeous as a machine can be. The umbrellas are not that bad either though they cost £2, and not 25c like the ones above. That said though I havent seen any of them in New York so is this NY company a rip off of Umbrolly or a part of the original Umbrollys??? www.umbrollys.com take a look.....
Hello everyone, I have never heard of Umbrolly what is a Brolly? I live in LA and I have a wet media umbrella, I don’t think the machine has wet media on it but the umbrella does. I think the vending machine had another name on it, maybe it belongs to the same people. Anyway, I have seen these vending machines in other stores and they are a great idea, not sure I would pay almost 4 bucks for an umbrella but I guess in the UK they need them more than we do, maybe they should start selling in Europe, I must tell them they should. :)
Since you guys are talking about Umbrellas, I have started to see more disposable plastic umbrellas made by that company in florida. Their website sounds like a porn site, I think its wetmedia or wet something.
